Case Study: Advocate PetTest

In 2021 we partnered with Advocate PetTest to build their Amazon brand presence and grow sales.

We organised their catalogue, integrating it into all new Amazon storefront designed to represent their brand values and culture. At the same time, we built out their listings and launched multiple marketing strategies. By early 2022, monthly sales values of test strips had increased by over 50%.

When we first approached PetTest, the Strips listing was pretty basic. It had just one photo and no videos. There were 35 sellers on the listing, its customer star rating was low (3.4) and the title and bullet points were missing important keywords.

The listing got a total makeover. The changes were an integral part of an overall strategy which included merging duplicate listings, adding Enhanced Brand Content, building an Amazon storefront, running focused PPC advertising campaigns, using Amazon's social media and removing rogue sellers, all of which resulted in an over 50% increase in sales in under 12 months.

  2. Multiple images including instructions and lifestyle images
  3. Multiple videos
  4. Expanded title including strategic keywords
  5. Professional storefront and much-improved star rating (4.7)
  6. Expanded bullets that sell and are keyword rich
  7. Inventory Management
  8. Limited sellers with consistent pricing

As all the changes worked together, the Amazon Sales Multiplier kicked in and sales increased over 50% within 12 months.
